Intellectual Property & Core Developments

A cornerstone of our current R&D is a proprietary H.264 Video Compression IP Core, developed entirely in Türkiye with support from KOSGEB. Built on defense-grade, DO-254 compliant design principles, this ultra-low latency and high-throughput encoder is optimized specifically for Edge AI and real-time defense systems. Its scalable architecture currently supports 1080p60 with a definitive roadmap to 4K real-time encoding. By offering both vendor-independent and vendor-optimized iterations, our IP Core achieves 20% to 30% lower FPGA resource usage compared to generic commercial alternatives.

Institutional Recognition & Deployments

Our ability to translate complex algorithms into functional hardware has made us a trusted partner across academia, national defense primes, and industrial sectors. We provide direct consultancy at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, engineer raw image ethernet streams for the railway industry, and maintain active NDAs with multiple defense companies for joint R&D.

Our Architectural Roadmap

As we scale our operations, our strategic roadmap focuses on the continuous enhancement of our IP Core Library and the development of high-speed interface architectures. We are actively integrating our event-based vision pipelines and preparing to demonstrate our AI Accelerator prototype through early field-tests in defense and industrial vision applications. By continuing to establish strategic LOIs and NDAs across aerospace and defense ecosystems, RunX is positioned to deliver the next generation of reliable, locally developed FPGA solutions.
